MATERIALS ENGINEERING NEWS serves the materials science and engineering community engaged in industry. Readers are materials engineers, scientists, product development and manufacturing professionals throughout North America. They are involved in all major industries and markets that utilize advanced, high-performance and engineered materials particularly electronics, power, aerospace, automotive, commercial products, medical, communications, military, structural and mechanical engineering; as well as technical and management professionals in the materials industry.

SUBJECT AND CONTENT
Editorial content focuses on the development, application, testing, processing and manufacturing of advanced, high-performance and engineered materials and materials-based products. Contributed material is accepted for short, concise treatment of one topic. We publish feature articles that address the following subjects: development and application of advanced materials; materials manufacturing and processing technology; materials characterization and testing. Categories of materials covered include nano, electronic, optical, coatings, films, laminates, conductives, dielectrics, composites, ceramics, alloys, fibers, plastics, resins, catalysts, additives, abrasives, adhesives, thermal and engineered materials, electrochemical and energy storage materials.

PRESS RELEASE FORMAT
All press releases should be submitted by e-mail to Joanna Larez (JoannaL@infowebcom.com). Release should not exceed 75 words. Attach corresponding product photos need to be in 300 d.p.i. PC Tif Format. Releases may be edited for length, grammar, punctuation and style.

ARTICLE FORMAT
All articles must be submitted either by electronic mail (JoannaL@infowebcom.com). Articles should comprise of 700 to 1,000 words for a typical two to four page article, not to exceed 1,500 words. Articles may be edited for length, grammar, punctuation and style.

ARTWORK
Artwork is preferred with each article. Tables, charts and graphs should be prepared as neat as possible with data accompanying them in text-only format. Color graphics, screen shots or photos should be submitted as black and white or color, in .eps or high-resolution. tif format for windows. If you cannot provide artwork, let us know in advance so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

AUTHOR BIO AND PHOTO
Please submit a concise biography of the author with the manuscript, and include phone, e-mail and other contact information. Photo of author is encouraged.
